Welcome to the Alexia L. Deligianni for OUSD Web Site!

I was born and raised in the Orange Unified School District. I attended school in our community before earning my teaching credential and my doctorate in educational leadership.

With experience teaching at the middle and high school levels, I understand what students need in order to have a strong education. As a founding member of the Academy for Preparing Prospective Leaders in Education, I know what must be done to train teachers to optimize children's education. Having been elected to the School Site Council and serving as a member of the Facilities Task Force, I know exactly which areas are essential for schools to receive funding and which areas are simply bureaucratic waste.

As your next school board member, I will:

• Make sure money goes directly into our classrooms
• Stand up to the educational bureaucrats
• Make sure the students come first in all of our district's decisions
• Implement a back to basics education
• Create term limits for OUSD Board Members.

I pledge to ensure fiscal responsibility for our taxpayers, and I will never vote to raise your taxes.
